Doorman CM01 55.1" Tall Cat Gate For Doorway

It arrived in perfect condition. It is nice and tall. It should be able to stop your animal from leaping over it unless they are very good at Olympic high jumps. After mounting it and tighting everything up, it is solid! It does not shake or rattle. My cats have not been able to get past it. It should also work very well for most dogs! Overall, I am very happy with it.

This is a really nice gate that fits our doorway perfectly without the added pieces. The instructions aren't that great though.

Works great, keeps the cats out of any room you do not want them in yet, it lets you see inside and easily enter and exit. It fits different size doorways easily and can be moved from one to the next. Fairly easy to use and latches automatically stays latched.

Was pretty easy installing. Instructions were pretty straight forward, a parts list would have been nice to ensure everything was received. This was installed into a hallway 37" wide. There were multiple additional bars for plenty of sizing options, with nice sturdy metal posts to connect the bars for resizing, feels secure and safe. There was slight modification needed due to the base boards. It does open easily but closing is a bit snug but may get easier with use. Love the 55" height very beneficial for the keeping the dogs from the kitties.

It is perfect! Easy to install and so easy to open! We put this at the top of our basement stairs. It can swing in or out and that makes it so easy. It had a tight fit and is adjustable for a perfect snug fit. It didn't damage our door frame at all. We definitely recommend.

Very durable and easy to set up, one of the pieces on the bottom had came off after consistently being used, that was the only issue.

This gate is just what we needed to keep our animals from going into our kids bedrooms. Tall enough so my cats can‘t jump over. Very easy to open to as my 6 year old can do it. Worth the price!

Does the job at keeping cats out of guest room. However, the extension portion allows some flexing. I don‘t think it would hold if a large dog were to jump at it. Without the extension it’s very sturdy.

Wondered why I waited so long. Great for my growing kittens. No way to get traction to jump over and close enough so they can squeeze through. Easy install and stays tight to the door jamb.

This is the 3rd set of gates we‘ve bought from online shop. Each set got taller and taller. They’ve all been good, but these are top tier. They were easy to install, they are super easy to use, and most importantly they stopped my pet velociraptor from escaping the containment zone with ease! He is no longer able to parkour his way over the gates into the great unknown that is the rest of our house. Would absolutely buy again.

My cats don't get along. I purchased this gate to still give them a chance to see each other and see if their relationship improves. Easy to install. It took me but 20 min tops. Follow instructions and DO NOT cut the zip tie that keeps the gate door closed. Let's see if we can get these cities to get a long.

This is a fantastic gate. I had bought a different one that was terrible and I feared the cats would knock it down. So I ordered this and it is perfect. Very stable, the door works perfectly, the cats can't get out. I highly recommend this for pet owners who are trying to keep them at bay. I inherited two cats who are polar opposite of two I already had and have had trouble integrating them together. This is helping to keep them from fighting each other. I only had two problems with this gate. I have molding running along the bottom of the wall, so the top was unbalanced. I put a piece of wood under the top fastening point and it took care of the problem. The other problem was that I would occasionally stub my toe along the bottom rail (yeah, it's not the gate's fault). Through classical conditioning I finally have gotten better at stepping up while going through the gate ;-) Oh, and use the video on this page to assemble the gate, it's much better than the written instructions.

This gate is very sturdy. Installaiton was very easy and intutitve which is good becasue the instructions are the worst ever published. It is doing a good job keeping our dog out of our bedroom while letting her see us so her seperation anxiety is eased.

Actually easy to install, although it took a few tries with the various extenders, but once installed, it's relatively sturdy. However, despite being 55" tall, it only took the cat that I'm keeping separated from the rest of the house to learn how to jump over. I ended up simply zip-tying some paper plates along the top edge to keep her inside. Obviously, if it's for older, less agile cats, it is fine.

If buying for cat- you might need some extra height. My new 8mo kitten jumped this fence.

It is made well, relatively easy to put together. Sturdy. I like the height and it would definitely keep children out. The bars are small my cats cant get thru but they can look into the door.

It is possible to overtighten the tension once the ziptie becomes loose then stop tightening. It is relatively quiet opening and closing the door.

We rescued a sheprador and had to close off our rear deck so he could go out and sit on the deck. My son and I fitted the gate to the 2 posts at the steps. Worked well and we were able to secure the gate frame well enough to keep and 80 lb Shepard/Lab mix secured.

Perfect for what we needed. Keeps our three cats out. The door got squeaky over time, but WD40 did the trick! It's tall and the door has automatic close which is nice, and it's wide enough to get through with a desk or laundry basket. Nice sturdy quality.

Works well to keep our Great Pyrenees confined in our kitchen. He has resource aggression and needs to be separated during feedings. This keeps him and our other pets safe. He hasn't been able to knock it down. It fit well in our doorway. Its sturdier that we thought it would be. There isn't enough space for him to grab corners or gaps with his paw and pull on it. Other baby/pet gates have this issue for us. I like how the door opens in both directions and will stay open when needed.

Fairly easy to install w options for different widths. We have 1 on a door frame and 1 in the hallway. Keeps our cats safe from each other as they cannot jump the gates. Opening and closing the gate is easy which is nice. And it clicks into place so you know its closed & secure.
I definitely recommend this gate.

This gate has been a blessing. I have a small 6lb dog who can really jump this keeps him out of the back of the house. And the bars are close enough my 3lb dog can not fit through! Such a blessing!

Very sturdy, nice and tall and slats are close enough together our grown cat can't squeeze through- could maybe be an issue for kittens but otherwise works great!!

This is awesome for my German Shepherd who I have to lock up if people he doesn‘t know come over. Allows him to see what’s going on and keep everyone safe at the same time. Very sturdy!
