Doorman CM03 Pet Gate with Cat Door

Awesome cat gate. The gate differs from the one in the photo. I thought it was suppose to have a cat door on the bottom but it doesn't. Nevertheless, it keeps my 2 cats out of my room and they cannot jump over it.

I find there to be no issue with this gate. It comes as stated, instructions could be clearer but we figured it out no issue. There is a clear tag on the zip tie you cut last . (Which is important!) if we used it in our doorway we couldn‘t shut the door bc the doorknob would hit the gate. So we moved inward into the smaller hallway and it worked great. We read comments previous to purchase and benefited from some of the advice for set up. We have moldings at the bottom of the walls so the tops were not long enough to stabilize. We placed a small block of wood & a small swatch of fabric to protect the walls from that. Works great. Cat door is snug to open and close. You have to hold the lock up on it which is a little annoying but still does the job! The build and overall function is sturdy and I’m happy with my purchase! I do find it‘s safe for cats; if you have large dogs you would definitely want to screw it into the wall, not use the pressure option. Other than that I would recommend it.

It's tall and very nice. Keeps my Great Dane unable to put his head over the gate or chew on the mechanism, to open. Bought a second one they are that nice. The kitties like the kitty door. Everybody is happy.

Great gate to prevent your cat from jumping over! I have it on my steps so my dogs can't reach my cat and it works perfect for it! I will say it doesn't close on its own but I've gotten into the habit of doing it manually. It's pretty quiet and easy to install on my own!

This gate or, "Cat Jail Door," is just what we needed to keep our cats apart while we were away for the weekend. Too tall to jump over is a win! They can still see each other but the gate keeps the 12lb cat from crushing the 6lb kitten. The sliding cat door at the bottom is a little wonky - takes some doing to get it to slide back and forth. We put heart stickers on both side of the little clear door to keep the cats from bonking their noses on the plastic. Great purchase. Easy to attach to doorway. Comes with multiple sections to add if your doorway opening is wider.

We just love this gate the handle is so easy to work. We purchased it so our new puppies could get use to the cats by seeing them through the bars. It's also tall enough that neither animal can jump it the puppies are German Shepherds so they are not small.

Easy to assemble. Works great. Be aware though that you have to put four screws in the wall or door frame.

Easy install. So far keeps my Malinois out of the laundry room.

At 55 inches this gate is tall. I have a German Shepherd and a cat and they do not get along very well at all. When I put the shepherd in the backyard, the cat can come through the little door at the bottom of the gate to visit with me. That's one of the reasons I bought this gate. I recommend screwing into the wall so the dog can't knock it down. I like the way the gate swings both ways and it's very easy to open and it closes automatically behind you unless you have it open all the way then it will stay open.
Update, the latch came a part on the inside of the gate. I've had it installed for about two weeks, with normal usage. Ordered another one to replace this one, hopefully I will not have any issues.

Amazing for front door entry! Prevents our dogs from escaping when we are coming in the house and is super sturdy.
