GreatWall DM09 30" Tall Pet Gate With Cat Door

This device effectively prevents dogs from entering certain areas. The cat door is large enough that our cat can easily pass through. Installation is simple, and the cat door works smoothly.

Gate feels solid. There are brackets on each side to attach to the wall, each with 4 screws, so it's very securely attached to the wall. Comes with brackets for the floor, as well, if you have a floor you can use that with. I bought this because we have an elderly Chihuahua who has become un-housebroken and pees on EVERYTHING past a certain point in the house, so he needed to be confined to the area of the house he does not see as a bathroom. I'd tried a lot of options and this has worked the best.

One problem with this gate being so secure is that I have a very large dog who gets anxious when he's restrained and has chewed through doors and walls before, and I was very nervous about him chewing the trim around where I have this gate secured. So I added some magnetic strips I just had hanging around (which I got on online shop years ago to stop a robot vacuum from going into different rooms) and the magnets are strong enough to keep the gate closed in place so that the Chihuahua can't push through, but the large dog can. And we don't have to fuss with the latch. (I also added bells so the large dog can let us know when he wants to go through.)
It's short enough that you can step over it if you are not too short yourself.

I bought this indoor fence for my dog (the 3 panel one) without really knowing much about these products, but it looked like what I needed. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I'm really happy with it. My dog is 8 pounds and hasn't been able to push it or move it at all. I didn't drill it to any walls. I'm using it in a U-shape to keep it more sturdy, and it's worked great just like that.

Excellent inside gate for an opening wider than a door or staircase. Fit our living room arch perfectly allowing excellent access through the gate and puppy access through the small opening. Keeps em out when I want. I just laid it against the wall behind a sofa table on one side and weights on the other.

This is the second gate we've got from Pawreto and once again they delivered something that feels solid and dependable. Unlike many gates that mix in plastic parts, this one is all metal. That makes a huge difference because there are no flimsy connectors or cheap pieces waiting to snap off. The hinges in particular deserve praise. They pivot in every direction, which means you can arrange the panels in all kinds of shapes depending on the space. It folds easily when you need to put it away, and the company even includes support feet, mounts, and tools so you can set it up freestanding or anchored to the wall.

We use it in the yard for our older dog who is losing his vision. Sometimes he gets turned around and wanders past the ramp, but with this gate, we can gently guide him toward the ramp and into the door. It feels secure, it doesn't topple, and being metal I don't have to worry about it falling apart outside. I've worked in rescue for years and gone through my fair share of dog gates, and these stand out as some of the best. They're durable, flexible in how you can use them, and clearly made with thought. If you need a reliable gate that you won't be replacing in a few months, this one is worth considering.

At first, I was skeptical about this Pawreto Free Standing Dog Gate with Door. I've purchased many different types of gates and so I've developed some preferences. This gate is entirely metal, unlike my other free standing gates. The positive is that there is nothing that should ever break. I've had a plastic gate latch and a plastic hinge break in the past, on my other gates. The sacrifice is that it's also a little more noisy and it rattles a little more when moved, than my hybrid plastic/metal gates do. Not a deal breaker though.
All of the necessary hardware is included to use this as a free standing gate or a wall mounted gate. Most gates don't include the support feet needed to stabilize them in free standing mode. This actually includes 6 support feet (referred to as "gasket" on instructions) to be attached on the 3 non-door panels, in the pre-drilled holes. Also included, is 4 fixed plates, for attaching to walls/doorways. The nice thing about the design of the fixed plates is that all it takes is loosening 4 bolts and you can easily detach the gate from the fixed plates, if desired. The hinges are actually pretty awesome because they allow the panels to swing completely extended, in either direction. This comes in handy at times. There are lots of positives about this gate and no real serious negatives that I can find.
The full length of all 4 panels with fixed plates attached is 107.5". Each panel measures 26", with a .5" space between each panel, and an additional 1" on each end for the fixed plates. (4 panels) 26"+(3 gaps) x .5"+ (2 fixed plates) x 1" = 107.5". So it won't fit any opening larger than 107.5", but it can fit smaller openings, simply by adjusting the angles of the panels to adjust.
Note: Fun Fact...The gate arrives secured with re-usable heavy duty zip ties. Simply use a small screwdriver to release the tabs, undo the strap and then use the zip ties for something else!

It's just what I wanted. My little dog can easily go in and out of her own space and I don't have to worry about my bigger dog eating her food or invading her area. It's sturdy and looks really great! Love it.

We needed something to make a safe space and play area for our cats that our dogs couldn't get into. This works perfectly. The cats can come and go as they please from that area and we can still get in thru the gate to scoop the litter pans and put down food.

Easy to install and love the functionality

Sturdy enough to protect the living room from an exuberant husky without cramping the styles of chunky, non-aerodynamic cats.

We purchased this gate to separate animals in our home over the holidays. The gate is sturdy with a cat door in it. It is easy to open and use. We have not attached ours to walls, doors, or floor because of our application, but it allows for these types of securing. It has served its purpose well for us.

Easy setup, great quality... overall good stuff

This gate is solid. It's sturdy metal construction and comes with several hinges that make it easy to install it in many locations, or just turn it into a very small pen on its own. It will also fold up nearly flat if you need to store it away. I like that I can pretty easily move it around and section off parts of the house from the dog if needed. You'll definitely want to install it properly because it is fairly heavy, and while a smaller animal probably couldn't knock it over, it's heavy enough that I'd be worried about hurting a small animal (like if the cat decided to mess with it). Pawreto makes great, solid stuff!

Looks really nice in person and feels like a quality product. The hinge design is cool, it basically has two sets of hinges top and bottom of each panel that allows it to swing back-and-forth.

Measurements on the product page is misleading, I measured each panel at 26 inches wide and the entire gate is a little over 105 inches wide. Not sure why they list 102 inches wide when it has four panels 26 inches each plus you have some distance with the hinges.

Overall, it's a very nice gate that can be angled to fit any opening.
