It arrived in perfect condition. It is nice and tall. It should be able to stop your animal from leaping over it unless they are very good at Olympic high jumps. After mounting it and tighting everything up, it is solid! It does not shake or rattle. My cats have not been able to get past it. It should also work very well for most dogs! Overall, I am very happy with it.

As others have noted, make sure you leave the twist tie that's keeping the spring loaded mechanism in place until you have completely amounted the door. It's well labeled not to cut but pay attention when you're unpacking.
The tool that they give you to turn the wheels to pressure fit the door fits into slots along the wheel, it doesn't just push the thumb grips.
You'll have to adjust that after as you practice opening and closing the door to get it to just freely use the spring mechanism to pull it shut and lock it in place without you having to push on it. If you make it too loose or the door is off center it will rattle.
Make sure to center everything the best you can. There is some forgiveness but not much.. make sure the receiver sockets for the pressure mechanism are in the exact right place that takes a little bit of time to get right
It's a great piece of Hardware, especially for the money and will keep your dog contained and last a long time
Keep the tightening tool somewhere near the door, maybe pin it inside a little container or well-made envelope, in case you've got furniture coming in and you need to take it down. Any flat piece of metal that fits into the slots will work, but that tool is perfect and easy to use.
Definitely better than hopping over Gates, that your puppy is going to be able to do soon enough on its own!

PERFECT! I have a pup that is so tall and has the ability to jump over everything other than this gate. It is awesome! It is made so strong and durable. The quality is great! It has a top latch and bottom latch that are fantastic but also easily released when you just pull it up. I have wide stairs too- this has three lengths and all can be personally adjusted for a perfect fit. It is easy to install and easy to use!
This gate works perfectly for our hallway! It’s easier to install if you have two people. This way someone can hold it steady and ensure it‘s even while the other person twists the tightening bolts. It‘s only been a day but so far so good. I’m pleased with my purchase!
Works well so far. Most likely will have to use screw mounted pads but just trying pressure mounted to start. When tightening pressure mounted pads to a tight position the gate is unable to open since it’s flexed in slightly so you have to leave them a little loose. This defeats the purpose of keeping our 60lb dog in the room.

Great quality, but I'm glad I didn't have to put it together. I also need to remember to pick up my feet so I don't trip when it's open. So far so good.

It's tall and very nice. Keeps my Great Dane unable to put his head over the gate or chew on the mechanism, to open. Bought a second one they are that nice. The kitties like the kitty door. Everybody is happy.

Absolutely loving how well it works! Got it to keep our dogs to the kitchen and dining room area so that they leave our kitties alone when we aren't home. It holds up to them perfectly. One is 80+ pounds and the other is 70+ and they live to jump. I highly recommend this gate!

We just love this gate the handle is so easy to work. We purchased it so our new puppies could get use to the cats by seeing them through the bars. It's also tall enough that neither animal can jump it.the puppies are German Shepherds so they are not small.
Easy to assemble. Works great. Be aware though that you have to put four screws in the wall or door frame.

Looks exactly as pictured. Fit 36 doorway perfectly. Works great, love that the door automatically closes unless opened the whole way. Only issue was the directions. They are horrible. Could be trouble for first timers.

It wasn't quite the right width, so I wanted to get some extensions, but they were back-ordered. They told me to return them. Zero hassles. It went well, but I'm still looking for the right size I need.
We call it our jail cell. My disabled cat cannot get through, keeps him safely in one room at night.
We have a newfoundland that weighs 150 pds and so far its keeping him out of the kitchen .easy set up , the gate is a little heavy but its doing its job
Update 5/5: Sellers were very quick to reach out and send me a replacement. This time everything was packaged very nicely and even had some foam covering specific parts. The new gate works as intended, it actually requires some strength to lift it up haha so I maybe wish that was a little easier. I think my previous shipment was either damaged in transit or a return. Definitely do not hesitate to reach out to their support team if yours has a hinge issue like mine did. Overall the gate is amazing and has held up for the week we’ve been trialing the replacement.
Old Rating 1/5: I wanted to like the gate because it does look nice but when you lift it to unlatch and open it, the entire door lifts off. It isn’t actually attached or held in place. It‘s literally just a short bolt that sits in a hole so when you lift it to open the gate it just takes the door right off.
