Works surprisingly well. Cats are no longer scratching the carpet at the door. When installing, make sure sure you don't cut the bands that keep the gate and upright post together. My assistant cut them, in spite of the clear label saying,Do not cut before installation is complete.(or similar). To recover from that, I took one of my belts (from my pants) and squeezed them back together that way. Other than that, installation was easy.

Got for my cats, pressure mounted, works good. Probably wouldnt hold if you fell against it or if a bigger dog pushed it unless you screwed it into the wall. Looks decent and prevents my cats from hopping over

This is my solution to encourage my kitties to use the new self cleaning litter box instead of my basement and it worked...kinda looks creepy huh!!!

This is the third one I have bought for my Doggie Daycare and Boarding facility. The height is perfect, the gates fit snug and are easy to put up and use. Very good quality and if I need another I will certainly purchase another.

I love this gate! It was so easy to assemble and perfectly fits my hallway opening. So far the cats cannot jump over it.

Great product.Very easy to use. Entrance opening is wide enough for a walker to go through. Suggetion for easy installation. Put the tension feet in the rubber cups and dry-fit the gate. When you have it adjusted to where you want it, and it's plumb and level, then back off the tightning 'bolt' one at a time, remove the sticky backing (or screw the rubber cap into the wall) and then re-tighten the foot until the gate is level and plumb again...repeat for the other three feet. Voila'...gate is installed and easy to use!

Not easy to put up but it shouldn't be. Very very sturdy gate with lots of additions included for fitting it. Leaves no gaps big enough for even kittens to get through. Very easy to open and does close itself well. Super expensive but great product.

So far I am really glad I bought this. Our door opening had one slanted wall but we were still able to make it stable. The handle works well and the door will stay open without swinging back.

I love this gate. It is the perfect height so my cats are not able to jump over. It is sturdy and installation was easy. I used the pressure mounting option because I didn't want to drill into my wall. I love the squeeze handle and how it opens. We've been using the gate for over a month now and it suits our needs perfectly

The product is excellent. I installed 2 gates, for living room and kitchen, to manage pets. HOWEVER, the instruction booklet is inadequate. The zip-tied gate broke free of the restraint WITHOUT BREAKING IT and crashed into a table and a lamp and sent me reeling. Even now the gates are installed w/o the adhesive-backed pads because of injury risk. ALSO, I do not recommend the gate where children live because it moves fast to shut if not opened entirely. Handling the gate slowly, I almost injured my cat which slipped out behind me and got his head caught. I felt the resistance and no harm occurred. Value is excellent. The gate works better than I had hoped. Just be careful.

Easy to assemble, fits the space well, and gate closes and latches seamlessly. It seems like it will be durable but only time will reveal that truth.

Web page was accurate. We have purchased 3 and they were clumsy, difficult to open and hard to install. These are very nice looking and allow for ease of use. We didn't have to drill the holes, thankfully. We just judged the spring tension so that if I have company; I can remove them completely. A+ on my review

Easy set up, perfect for large dogs, opening and closing is really easy on my arthritic hands.

So far, this gate works well. The only question I have is 3 weeks after installation, the gate springs make a lot of like tweaked squeaky spring noises. Anyone else? The gate will be perfect for us as long as the function doesn't break, they is the worry right now

Works great. Easy install and like that it comes with extra extension pieces. Only drawback is that 2 of my cats hurdle this fence like it's not even there. Needs to be about 6 inches taller.

These gates are excellent. I love that they swing in both directions and close themselves. My dog can't jump over it, and one of my two cats can't either. My other cat, can get over it, but he does whatever he wants! At least it keeps the dog out of the cat food and litter box.

I foster a lot of kittens and needed a secure gate to contain them that they couldn't climb over. Enter the Pawreto extra-tall gate as the solution! The vertical bars and extra-tall height means the kittens can't get enough footing to climb over. The bars spaced enough that most of the kittens can't through (extra tiny runts need some added reinforcement). It's heavy but easy enough to install and operate. Very happy with this!

LIKES: heavy, solid material, nice extension options, easy to install, two install options (permanent or temporary) I love how the gate either closes itself or when fully extended locks itself open. DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: I use this at the top of my stairs when babysitting friends' cats. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. This is the best gate system I have purchased to date. All of the others required me to use multiple gates and crawl under one because my cats would simply jump or climb over the shorter ones.
