For freestanding use, the panels should be positioned at a slight angle to improve stability. As a result, the actual straight-line coverage may be shorter than the listed maximum width.
Fixed-Panel Design with 360° Folding Hinges
The connected metal panels use 360° hinges, allowing the gate to fold in either direction and adapt to different room shapes. When the gate is not needed, the panels fold flat for more compact storage.
The panel sequence is fixed:
● Individual panels cannot be removed or rearranged.
● The walk-through door remains in its original position.

It is a heavy gate. Which is good for my need. However two bolts have come out but not a big deal we just fixed it. I would worry if a toddler or small dog.

I am so impressed with this gate. I have had many pet gates over the years and this is by far the most sturdy and substantial gate I have had, the quality is absolutely great. I love how the gate is shaped and styled it is beautiful and looks as high end as it is. This is a good gate not only for kids but also a great gate for pets. This gate comes with all the hardware you need to install it directly to the wall. Once installed it is able to be opened and closed. This gate looks so nice in my house and is a huge improvment from the other gates I have had.
